Servings: 6. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely diced
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
4 eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp mustard (optional, for extra cheeseburger flavor)
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Optional toppings: pickles, chopped tomatoes (omit if avoiding veggies), or crumbled bacon
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the diced onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until onions are soft, then drain excess grease.
Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle 1.5 cups of cheddar cheese on top.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, mustard, and smoked paprika. Pour the mixture evenly over the beef.
Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving. Add optional toppings if desired.
